The studio was full with family and friends of the Miss Malaika delegates who were itching to see creativity meet style as the delegates designed their own beach wear, casual and evening wear dresses.
The delegates worked with renowned designers such as Aya Morrison, Elorm Fiagbe, Afri-ken Novelty and Pure Black to create magnificent beach wear, casual and evening wear.
Creativity met with style and elegance as the delegates came out with unique designs that were really eye captivating and intriguing. They beautifully showed their cat walking skills as Miss Catwalk will emerge from the fashion night hence, each delegate knowing this added her own swag to the cat walk to make sure that they win this challenge.
The delegates; Aisha, Priscilla, Lordina, Lois, Eugenia, Selma, Yoda, Abigail, Twumwaa, Betty and Naa Oyoe all beautifully cat walked on stage showcasing their beach wear, casual and evening wears. Some delegates had good feedbacks from the judges whiles others according to the judges went off the mark.
The studio audience couldn't hide their excitement as the delegates came out cat walking in their fabulous designs. All delegates received thundering applause from the studio audience nevertheless, those with breathtaking designs got wow and mouth dropping reaction from the crowd.
The fashion show was judged by two beautiful and fashion savvy ladies; Claudia Lumor publisher of Glitz Africa Magazine and Glitz fashion shows and Belinda Baidoo, an international model and fashion designer. They were tough and hard to please due to their in depth knowledge of the fashion industry, however some delegates managed to get pass their eagle eyes and even gave free fashion tips to the female studio audience.
Adina of Stars of the future fame gave an exceptional musical performance as she sang the popular please let me go song from her new album that got her nominated for best female vocal at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The crowd sang along and was even seen swaying their bodies to rhythm of the song.
