Gourmet Tastebuds Pop Up Restaurant: A little something different for this Saturday evening, is an exciting new phenomenon in Pop Up Restaurant. Chi Kung Workshop: 18 stance Taijishibashi is mindful movements to calm the mind and relax the body. Also Tai Chi movements will be demonstrated to follow and copy at a slow, leisurely pace which is perfect for beginners. Sessions cost £35 at the Guide Hall, Hertford, on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.


Horse riding competition: See the spectacular horse vaulters in action on as they perform their vaulting moves to music. Training session precedes the competition on Saturday at the Contessa Riding Centre, Colliers End, Contact this number for more information (01920) 821792.


Apple Day at St Elizabeth's: Enjoy a fun day out picking organic apples at St Elizabeth's Orchard on Saturday in Perry Green. There will be more than 20 varieties of apples from Bramley, Worcester Pearmain to Ribston Pippen and many more. There will be produce on sale from Ash Vale Horticultural Social Enterprise and a Farmer's Market. Harlow Falconry will also be attending and offering a 'Falconry experience'. Go along and support St Elizabeth's charity between 11am to 4pm. There will also be home made soup and refreshments and in total a great day out for all the family.


Roller skating: If you are looking for something fun for the family to or just wanting to burn off Sunday’s roast dinner, head down to the Ware Drill Hill, between 5pm and 6.30pm for some roller skating fun. No experience required with skates provided and admission only costs £3.


River Walk: The New River was completed on September 29th 1613, so to mark the occasion Jo Clayton and Tony Pateman will be leading a birthday walk to the start of the river. Everyone is welcome to take part in the celebrations by joining a free health walk on Sunday. It starts from Hartham Leisure Centre at 2pm as part of the autumn/winter programme of walks in Hartham Common.


Charity Coffee Morning: Feeling thirsty? Support Macmillan Cancer Charitable Trust by attending their “Biggest Coffee Morning” with a large selection of hot and cold drinks. Large selections of homemade cakes are available including gluten free ones. Do not worry about the kids as a toddler’s corner will be provided. The coffee morning is being held at the Ware Christadelphian Hall between 10am and midday on Saturday.


Marty Wilde and The Wildcats: A chance to see, live on stage, one of the last performing Rock'n'Roll pioneers in the world today. His has many hits and a host of wonderful songs from that era to perform. Marty and his fabulous band, The Wildcats, take you back through some of the most exciting musical times this country has ever experienced. The event takes place on Saturday at the Hertford Theatre with tickets costing £19.50.


Celebrity Football Match: Tony Hudson Celebrity XI Vs West Ham Legends starring ex-professional footballers, stars of music, sport, TV and Film. The Game will be recorded and feature in a film due for release in the cinemas in spring 2014. The match will help raise vital funds for Harlow 5 Aid and Great Ormond Street Hospital.


This event at Harlow Football Club is a great day out for all the family, football fans and star spotters. Some of the stars you can expect to see are Boxers Terry Marsh, Joe Egan, Ian Mcloud and Frank Bruno. Ex-Footballers include Jimmy Carter, Chris Whyte, Danny Granville, Frank McAvennie, Bobby Petta and Robbie Savage. The celebrities who are taking part are Jeff Brazier, Calum Best, John Alford and John Altman. Gates open at 2pm with kick-off at 3pm. Tickets are available on the day at the stadium and cost £10 for adults and £5 for children and concessions.


Red Fun Run: This run for Herts Air Ambulance is the culmination of National Air Ambulance Week, and with a firm focus on fun the charity is encouraging friends and families to enter a team and either run or walk 5K or a shorter route around the lake. You can really get into the spirit of Go Red Week and dress up, wear and/or paint yourselves red! There will be plenty of family fun and entertainment on the day, as well as the opportunity to meet the air crew and have a photo with them next to the aircraft.


The event opens at 10am and the run starts from 11am from Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage on Sunday. Entry is £10 per person for the 5K fun run (£7 for running club members) and £5 for one adult and up to three children for the walk around the lake. All runners will receive a t-shirt, medal and goody bag.
