Chandigarh: After Delhi and Ludhiana, designer brand ‘YEL’ opened up its store in sector-17 on Tuesday. Video Jockey Bani was present for the opening ceremony. Bani is a resident of Chandigarh and had been among the finalists of Roadies, season-4. It was soon after Roadies that she got a chance to be a VJ. She is also known as ‘Tattoo girl’ in the world of television. In very less time, she has attracted everyone towards her because of her beauty and brilliance. After performing as a VJ on MTV, she is getting offers from modeling and Bollywood as well but Bani believes that she still has to work a lot and wants to be mature enough before accepting offers from bollywood.


Male and female designer wear range of ‘YEL’ is set up in the showroom. Also, smart and elegant collection for youngsters is available here. The owners of the store, Divya and Vipul Gupta told that the brand is 2 years old and it is being introduced in Chandigarh now. There is a range of close neck tweed jackets to Nehru jackets in the male wear section. ‘YEL’ has paid special attention to different pattern of clothes worn for different occasions. Other than party wear kurtas, linen shirts and trousers, there is a whole range of ‘A’ line dresses, ponchus and coats, for female.

Nehru Jackets: Made of silk, tweed and tussore fabric, these jackets are available in different colours.


Range: Rs 4500-6500


Woolen Coats: This coat collection is made up of mix and pure wool. There is a wide range available in both short and long coats.
