It seems that Victoria's Secret Angels simply can't keep away from any charity event featuring the word 'angel' somewhere in the title or venue name.

On Wednesday night, blonde beauty Lindsay Ellingson made a striking appearance at the 4th Annual UNICEF Masquerade Ball, which was held at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City.

All eyes were on the 28-year-old as she turned up in a sheer navy blue floor-length gown with shimmering soft gold underlay.

The mermaid-esque creation featured a low-cut neckline, horizontal piping and a super long, flowy pleated train that kicked out from the knees.

Starfish patterns adorned the sheer cut-off shoulders and train.

The stunning star donned an intricate gold Venetian mask as she got into the theme of the evening.

Her long golden tresses perfectly complemented the ethereal feel of the outfit, worn down in soft, pretty curls.

All for a good cause: The dress's long gold and blue fishtail train added to the under-the-sea effect, though it was hard for the star to control and certainly provided a possible tripping hazard

The 28-year-old needed no make-up, simply playing up her bright green eyes with some bronze shadow and mascara, while she continued the bronze with her subtle shade of lipstick.

Actress Megan Boone fully immersed herself in the masquerade theme, donning a dramatic black strapless ball gown with tiered feature and bow embellishment.

The Blacklist star wore matching black pointy stilettos and a short scarf tied around her neck, while she went all-out styling her grey and brown streaked hair into a bouffant 'do that fanned upwards in a flame-like wave with side fringe.

Perhaps not wanting to spoil her picture-perfect make-up, the 30-year-old held her white and silver mask with feather embellishment up next to her face in her hand as she posed on the red carpet.

Priorities: The 30-year-old didn't want to hide or even possibly ruin her picture-perfect make-up, so she held up her white and silver feathered mask next to her flawlessly made-up face

Also at the event was a dressed-down Lauren Bush Lauren.

The designer and UNICEF committee member stuck to the theme with her black, white and gold feathered mask, though she oddly teamed it with a simple black knee-length dress, matching strappy heels and a well-worn leather jacket.

She accessorised with one of her Feed satchel creations, which help raise funds and awareness for school feeding operations, fighting hunger and malnutrition in third world countries.
