After rumors last week, Bruce Springsteen revealed that he has a follow-up to ‘Wrecking Ball’ planned for January 2014. Bruce Springsteen Confirms New Album Rumors

Last week, a source came forward to Billboard to tell the magazine about Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming album, which would be due as soon as January 2014. Rather than keep fans guessing, the Boss confirmed through social media that the album is official – and gave a tracklist and release date.

The release will be called High Hopes – the same title of a track Springsteen recently recorded with Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello. If you can recall, the track, originally recorded by the band in 1995 and featured on the Blood Brothers EP, leaked last week.

Statements further show the album comes out on January 13, and that the tracklist includes a combination of new and old material and covers: “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” originally recorded for his 1995 album; a cover of “Dream Baby Dream” by Suicide, and a studio version of “American Skin (41 Shots),” which Springsteen previously recorded live.

Already, the album is available for preorder, and “High Hopes” officially comes out on November 25. Here is High Hopes’ full tracklisting:
