Things seemed to have picked up for Harry Styles when he managed to clinch a dinner date with reality TV star and model Kendall Jenner on Wednesday night.
But the evening's events may not have been quite the ending he may have hoped for after being spotted leaving the same Craig's restaurant, alone on Thursday.
The 20-year-old star cut a lonely figure when he exited the joint on Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood, but still managed to look effortlessly cool in just a plain T-shirt and jeans.

Ever the style guru, Harry managed to make a black and grey striped T-shirt and a pair of black jeans look haute couture as he sauntered out of the restaurant, which has also attracted the likes of Lady Gaga, Ryan Phillipe and Amanda Seyfried to try out the American delicacies.
He teamed he look with a leather strap watch and a pair of black Chelsea boots whilst leaving his collection of brunette curls out and messy.
Stripped of any bags, only Harry was holding a mobile phone, just to make sure he doesn't miss out on anything important whilst he feeds on his choice of pizzas, pastas or grilled dishes.

It might have been a good opportunity to try out some of the dishes he missed out on whilst eating alongside the 18-year-old sister of Kim Kardashian.
While the duo chose to keep the news of their dinner date from their Twitter followers, Harry simply tweeted: 'In the ciiiiityyyyyyyyy...'
Meanwhile it has been reported that Harry has already been banned from appearing on Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Despite their date earlier this week, but there won't be any reference to the new couple on the reality TV show as Harry's management have forbidden E! network from mentioning him in future episodes.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Whatever happens, if the relationship develops or not, E! have been told that Harry is not to be mentioned on the programme.'
The singer has been linked to American singer Taylor Swift in January before he was rumoured to be seeing British model Cara Delevingne.

A relationship between the pair has not been confirmed, insisting that things be left as private as possible.
The source of The Sun added: 'Harry wants to keep things as private as possible and isn't going to become part of the reality series like others in the past who have been linked to the Kardashian-Jenner clan.'
The couple reportedly struck up a close friendship when they met at The X Factor USA studio while One Direction recorded their performance for last night's show.

But E! news have insisted that the pair are currently 'just friends'.
On Friday morning, the star was spotted arriving early at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in order to rehearse, whilst oozing style in a white T-shirt, black jeans, brown boots, sunglasses and a khaki scarf wrapped around his curly locks.
