On Friday, November 1 Variety posted the news that the filming of an episode of the popular AMC drama "Mad Men" was stopped after an early morning shooting occurred at Los Angeles International Airport. The show was in the American Airlines Terminal 4 filming when the incident occurred in a nearby terminal and the airport was put on lockdown.
Dustin Woods, a key grip on the series, posted several tweets about the production being at the airport during the incident, which all have since been deleted. The filming of the first episode of season seven began today, although not much filming was accomplished before everyone was moved to a secure location. The tweets can be found below:

The seventh season of "Mad Men" will be split in half, with the first half of the season airing in early 2014 and the second half airing in 2015. This format improved ratings for the other AMC smash hit series "Breaking Bad," which ended earlier this summer. The details about the show's seventh season are being kept tight under wraps, but at least some of it will take place at an airport, since the production was working there.
It's not clear if any of the stars of the show were in the airport, although several other actors and television show hosts used they social media accounts to give updated information about the situation at LAX throughout the day. The airport was closed at 9:30 a.m. and reopened around 4 p.m. local time, with some flights taking off, being delayed or canceled.
