Miley Cyrus said she’s one of ‘the biggest feminists’ in a radio interview. ‘Girls are all beautiful,’ she said.
Miley Cyrus says the method to her madness is actually motivated by progressive feminist thought.
"I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything," she said in an interview with BBC Newsbeat. "Girls are all beautiful."
OK, it isn’t the most revolutionary reasoning, but the 20-year-old singer elaborated, suggesting that her definition of feminism has a lot to do with the reason why she's often scantily clad.
"Guys get to show their t---ies on the beach, why can't we?" she said.

Cyrus is gearing up for her Bangerz world tour, which she said will be ‘insane.’
"I don't understand the double standard of life."
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Cyrus thinks everyone should be able to do what they want without judgement or worry.
"I'm for anybody and everything," she said. "I don't care what you want to do in your life, or who you want to be with, who you want to love or what you look like."
She further illustrated that fun-loving, carefree thought in another interview with radio station Capital FM, when Cyrus let one of the talk show hosts drum on her rear as part of their “Bum Bum Bongos” running joke segment.

Capital FM radio Dave Berry used Miley Cyrus's butt as a bongo drum.
"The bongos work well with these pants, right?” she said as host Dave Berry drummed.
"Thank you for banging me."
Cyrus also addressed the hype surrounding her onstage funny cigarette-smoking display at the MTV European Music Awards.
"I just did it mostly because I knew the fans in Amsterdam would love it and they started going crazy when I did it,” she said.

‘Thanks for banging me,’ Cyrus said.
The ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer appeared to be smoking marijuana, which is legal and widely available in the country.
Gearing for her worldwide Bangerz tour, which kicks off on Valentine’s Day next year, Cyrus said audiences can “expect chaos.”
"This tour is going to be so insane,” she said. “Everyone always makes it seem like I don't fit in, so I'm making everyone go into my world a little bit.”
“This is where everyone else gets to see inside my mind and my brain. I want it to feel like my own world, like complete chaos as soon as you walk inside the arena.”
