The surviving members of Monty Python have been speaking about their decision to reunite on stage for the first time in more than 30 years.

According to Michael Palin he "didn't need any persuading" and Terry Gilliam believes the "planets were in the right position".

However John Cleese has admitted he needs to "fill in the large hole" in his finances.

The trio were speaking to the BBC's Arts Editor Will Gompertz.
