It's an appropriate match for Nicks. Murphy has been a longtime fan of the "Landslide" singer, and even honored her already through "American Horror Story" character Misty Day, a Nicks obsessive and necromancer.
"When I was growing up, I was always obsessed with those Stevie Nicks songs like 'Rhiannon' and 'Gypsy,'" Murphy said to Entertainment Weekly. "And I remember reading an article where Courtney Love called Stevie Nicks the 'white witch' and Grace Slick the 'dark witch.'…She's just a wonderful, wonderful person."
