Every Saturday night, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne try to do outdo themselves in the style stakes.

But this week, it seemed that it was a battle between good and evil as they walked out on The X Factor stage.

Looking devilishly sexy, Nicole, 35, stepped out in a black cutaway gown that showed off her skin beneath the sheer fabric, while Sharon, 61, looked like a red-headed angel in a white brocade dress.

Nicole continued the angel of darkness look with smoky eyes and a dark red lipstick, while her long hair was tousled but pulled back to reveal her pretty face.

On her feet, the singer wore black mosaic-cut sandals to complete the dark look, but despite her sultry outfit, Nicole still wore that bright-eyed grin as she walked out hand-in-hand with Gary Barlow and Sharon.

Osbourne's dress looked sleek and elegant, with the brocade pattern, seemingly laser-cut into the fabric.

The judge's hair look big and bouncy, and she wore simple jewellery, with just a long pendant around her neck, a few rings and drop earrings.

This week, the remaining acts will be performing songs released by former X Factor contestants to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the ITV talent show.

Sharon's only act Sam bailey is the bookies favourite, and will no doubt have everyone singing along when she performs Leona Lewis's Bleeding Love - which was a global hit in 2007.

For Nicole, with two acts still in the competition, she'll be throwing her support behind Hannah Barrett, who will cover Alexandra Burke's 2008 winner's song Hallelujah, originally written by Leonard Cohen but most famously covered by Jeff Buckley.

Tamera Forster will perform James Arthur's 2012 winner's single Impossible, a cover of the original track by Barbadian artist Shontelle, but hopefully she won't suffer backlash by associating herself with the controversial X Factor star.

James recently had a battle of word via text with former contestant Lucy Spraggan who felt his derogatory comments towards a rapper, which included the word 'queer' were inappropriate.
