Elizabeth McGovern poked fun at herself on Sunday as she posed for a portrait that parodies the Downton Abbey cast photo during a visit to Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
McGovern, 52, stood at the head of two lines of Disney employees in front of Epcot's United Kingdom Pavilion, which was meant to represent Highclere Castle, the historical building used in the hit television show.
While her companions were in costume, McGovern sported jeans and a long-sleeve button-down, her hair in a cute bob with sideswept bangs. It's certainly not a look Downton fans are accustomed to seeing on the Countess of Grantham.
But the actress does channel the body language of Cora Crawley, folding one hand over the other in a gesture mimicked by the group – or, most of them. Goofy, the lone holdout, instead grasps his lapel and, dressed in tails, looks ready to sit down to a Crawley family formal dinner.
Although Goofy may be dressed properly, the Dowager Countess of Grantham, Lady Violet Crawley – memorably played by Maggie Smith – would surely have something quippy to say to him at the dinner table.
Downton Abbey's fourth season premieres on PBS Jan. 5.
