ATLANTA — A national nonprofit group that using wedding dress sales to raise money for breast cancer patients is making a stop in Atlanta this weekend.
The Brides Against Breast Cancer national tour of bridal gowns is scheduled to set up shop at the Marriott Galleria Saturday and Sunday.
Organizers say more than 1,000 designer and brand-name gowns will be on sale for between 25 and 85 percent off.
Organizers say proceeds from the event are used to support cancer patients and their families, and the event raised $2 million for cancer patients in 2012.
Wedding gowns ranging from size 0 to size 24 will be available, and organizers say prices could range from $99 to $4,000, with some gowns being worth as much as $8,000.
