Chloe Grace Moretz channeled youthful elegance with a slight edge in a Valentino gown at the Los Angeles premiere of "Carrie" on Oct. 7.
Moretz, 16, stars as the title role in the film, a remake of the 1976 classic starring Sissy Spacek and novel by Stephen King. The "Kick-Ass" star was joined on the red carpet by her costars Alex Russell, Judy Greer and Julianne Moore, who wore a stunning Givenchy gown at the premiere (see PHOTOS).
Moretz wore a dramatic forest-green sheer Valentino gown featuring black lace appliqués, a black lace underlay and lilac dandelion prints placed throughout the dress. The star accessorized the look with a side-swept messy fishtail braid and neutral makeup.
The actress recently attended Moore's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, where she gave a speech honoring her costar's body of work and mentorship. "I am so excited to be here to honor my great friend and mentor, Julianne Moore," Moretz said. "She has taught me how to be a brilliant mom one day and how to have one of the most amazing, long last careers and how to be the most beautiful person inside and out."
"Carrie" hits theaters on Oct. 18, 2013.
