Alec Baldwin reportedly has been fired from MSNBC following an outburst of anti-gay slurs.

"The decision has been made. He's gone," an insider at the cable channel told Page Six. "The (parent company) Comcast guys have decided. Word is spreading through the building."

The actor's low-rated weekly show, "Up Late With Alec Baldwin," had been pulled off the air for two weeks following an incident in which Baldwin spewed a foul-mouthed rant at a photographer.

A source also cites his "diva-like behavior toward co-workers." Baldwin's demands allegedly included a humidifier because he claimed the air in the building was too dry, and he alienated staffers by demanding a separate makeup room that was being used by a woman with cancer who is sensitive to hair spray.

"I don't give a (expletive) if she has cancer or not, I want that (expletive) makeup room," he allegedly said.

How did Tina Fey ever corral this guy?

Baldwin, who is filming a movie in Hawaii, apparently wasn't available for comment.
