It's official, folks. Courtney Stodden and husband Doug Hutchinson have called it quits, reports Hollywood Life.

"After two-and-a-half years of marriage, Courtney and Doug have decided to become legally separated," her rep said in a statement.

With her parents' blessing, Stodden was only 16-years-old when she married the "Lost" star in May 2011, who was 51 at the time.

The aspiring country singer, who was recently a contestant on "Big Brother" in the UK, was seen going for a walk with Hutchinson and their dog in Los Angeles Monday sans wedding rings, according to People.

"The two will share custody of their precious pup, Dourtney," the rep added. "(They) will remain living in the same house (for now) in separate bedrooms, and Doug will be co-managing Courtney's career."

While Hutchinson takes a back seat in Stodden's love life, the now 19-year-old reality star has the freedom to move around on her own. In fact, she may have already gotten a jump start on her new relationship status as she was spotted canoodling with a mystery man in September and was said to be flirty with Mario Falcone, a fellow "Big Brother" contestant.

"Courtney was married at a young age," the rep said. "Now, at 19, she's interested in exploring life as an unmarried single young adult — with the freedom to explore her independence."

‘We love each other very much, want for each other's happiness, and will continue being the best of friends for life,’ the pair said in a statement.

"Doug supports Courtney 100%," Stodden's rep added.

But a source recently painted a different picture of how Hutchinson is dealing with the breakup.

"Doug knew he was taking a risk with the marriage, but he genuinely fell in love with Courtney and didn't realize how much his life would be changed after they got married," the source told Radar Online. "She is done with him and he's totally heartbroken."

Regardless of the split, "The Green Mile" actor will still be his teen bride's best friend "for life" and, like the rep stated, will co-manage her career.

"We love each other very much, want for each other's happiness, and will continue being the best of friends for life," they said in a statement.
