Kaley Cuoco and Ellen DeGeneres

That's how it goes down in a segment Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show , in which DeGeneres surprises The Big Bang Theory actress by bringing in her fiancé, Ryan Sweeting, and orchestrating a quickie wedding for them on stage.
Cuoco, 27, laughs hysterically as her tennis-player beau sheepishly asks at one point: "This isn't legal, right?"
Before the unexpected wedding, Cuoco talks to DeGeneres about another surprise – the fact that she fell for Sweeting at all. She had sworn off love, she says, and did everything she could not to meet him.
"I had kind of an interesting situation over the summer, and I was kind of in a weird place, and a very close mutual friend of ours said, 'Oh my God, have you met this guy Ryan?' " she says. "I was just not in a good place to meet anyone. I said I'm not ready. I'm taking time away from love for a while. I was very sad."
But then he texted her, saying he was going to be in Los Angeles.
"I'm like, 'Oh my God, so now I have to see this guy? Do I have to hang out with him all weekend?' " she says. "So, we go and have a dinner date, and we're still on our first date. He never went home."
Cuoco admits it all happened pretty fast. "It's newer … It's newer … It's looking a little crazy to some people," she says. But when you know, you know.
"By day two I was like, 'Oh my God,' " she says. "It was so unbelievable. I said, 'This is it, this is it.' "
