Outrage is brewing over a racy Kmart commercial featuring boxer-clad men shaking their shorts to the tune of “Jingle Bells.”
The ad, to promote Joe Boxer’s holiday line of men’s underwear, starts out innocently enough — a row of bow tied men ringing bells in front of a white banquet table.

But then the table is yanked out of the way, revealing the group of men stripped down to their skivvies, jiggling their junk to the song’s bell chimes.
“I think this is the tackiest commercial Kmart has ever had, and very distasteful,” one Facebook user wrote on the store’s page.

Another said she saw the commercial, called “Show Your Joe,” on TV with her 14-year-old daughter.

A new holiday commercial from Kmart sparked controversy — and some applause — online.
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and what you were implying,” she wrote. “Very disrespectful to your overall audiences, sad what you do for a sale or publicity. You lost my sales this year.”

But plenty of people stood up for Kmart, applauding the store and Joe Boxer for a “hilarious” ad.
Many pointed out that Victoria’s Secret ads are just as sexy, but trigger fewer complaints, despite showing "half-naked models bouncing down the runway spilling out of their bras,” as one Facebook user described.

Kmart hasn’t released an official comment, but is responding to complaints on social media.
“This commercial is a playful take on spreading holiday cheer,” the company wrote. “We regret if you found it objectionable.”
