The former Nickelodeon starlet, 27 – whose lawyer Tamar Arminak told PEOPLE on Wednesday she is "feeling better every day" – was spotted on Thursday, strolling through Thousand Oaks, Calif., alongside her parents Rick and Lynn Bynes with two family dogs in tow.
The recovering actress was casually clad, sporting skinny jeans, Vans high-tops, sunglasses, a baseball cap and a white sweatshirt that said "Gang$ta Love."
Bynes was forcibly hospitalized following a driveway-burning incident in July, but was eventually moved to a Malibu rehabilitation facility.
Moving forward, Arminak said Bynes is "now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."
The actress, who was estranged from her father at the time of her hospitalization, is, according to Arminak, now "very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
