Beyonce is just full of holiday surprises. First Mrs. Carter recorded a secret album and dropped it on her unsuspecting fans last week, then she showed up at a Tewksbury Walmart Friday and bought it!

The bootylicious Queen Bey made an unannounced visit to the Walmart SuperCenter on Main Street in Tewksbury, where she purchased her new album, “Beyonce,” and a toy for baby daughter Blue Ivy. The pop superstar wished everyone a Merry Christmas then gave out $50 Walmart gift cards to 750 customers. In case you’re math impaired, that’s $37,500 worth of Christmas cheer B was spreading! The cards all said “Happy Holidays from Beyonce.”

“This is exciting to see it in person,” B told a Walmart manager as she picked her CD off a display rack.

The megastar mom also kissed babies, greeting one little girl named Arianna with “Hi, beautiful!” before picking her up and giving her a hug and an “Oh what a sweetie pie you are!”

On her way out, Bey schmoozed with her cashier then picked up the store intercom and announced “Hello, Walmart shoppers, it’s Beyonce.”

“I wanted to give everyone a little gift,” the “Single Ladies” singer continued. “For everyone in the store right now, the first $50 of your holiday gifts are on me. Merry, merry Christmas from Beyonce.”

The Walmart stop, a few hours before the Mrs. Carter World Tour hit the TD Garden, was an obvious dig at Target, which refused to carry the new record because she had released it a week earlier on iTunes.

File Under: Bey’s Christmas Presence.
