When the Golden Globes nominations were announced this morning, we pretty much dropped everything (including our freshly brewed coffee #ouch) when we learned that Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto scored a nod for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club"! SO glad he didn't get snubbed like some of our other faves. #EPIC #DESERVED #ALLTHETEARS #ECHELONFORLIFE
The "Do Or Die" singer is nominated for Best Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role In A Motion Picture for his incredibly poignant portrayal of "Rayon," a transgender woman who is HIV-positive and struggling with drug addiction. You may remember the super visible transformation that Jared went through while filming last year, which even included waxing his legs. Well clearly, all that dedication paid off!
Not to jinx anything, but we're kinda wondering if Jared's already made room for the award on his mantle, right in between his Best Rock Video VMA and Best Alternative EMA? Oh, and speaking of things on our minds, who wants to host a Jared-themed Globes party when the ceremony airs on Jan. 12? Don't worry, we'll bring the food. (All the Lunchables you can eat, duh!)
