Mother Monster is returning to Rexall Place on Monday, May 26 — almost four years after her last visit. Tickets are $35 to $200 plus service charges. On sale Monday, Dec. 9 at Ticketmaster.ca. Pre-sales through LittleMonsters.com began Tuesday.
This time, she’ll be bringing her artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball, based on her latest album, ARTPOP, which features such tunes as Applause, Do What U Want featuring R&B star R. Kelly, and Sexxx Dreams. She released it a lavish party in New York last month, clad in a flying dress and surrounded by Jeff Koons sculptures. She also recently hosted a U.S. Thanksgiving TV special, Lady Gaga & The Muppets Holiday Spectacular.
In 2010, Gaga played two sold-out shows at Rexall — and skipped Calgary — during her Monster Ball tour.
She’ll be making a stop in Cowtown on this trek: Sunday, May 25 at the Saddledome. In Canada, she’ll also play Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and Winnipeg.
Other high-profile shows already announced for Rexall next year include Cher, Pink (rescheduled from October), Chicago, Arcade Fire, Michael Bublé and Nick Cave.
