Swift tops the list of DoSomething.org's most charitable celebrities of 2013 with her various contributions to people in need, while Harry Styles and his bandmates are in second place.




has been dubbed the most charitable celebrity of 2013. The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer tops this year's list of Celebs Gone Good compiled by . The foundation releases the list annually, putting names of stars who carried out charitable activities throughout the year.


Swift tops this year's list, while and are in second and third place respectively. This year, Swift donated $100,000 during her 24th birthday to the Nashville Symphony which was hit with financial problems. In November, she joined forces with Prince William and to perform "Livin' On a Prayer" at the Winter White Gala in London benefitting homeless youth.


, , , and , meanwhile, started the year by joining U.K.'s charity Comic Relief as volunteers in Ghana. Payne and Styles additionally raised $800,000 for cancer research. Beyonce performed at London's charity concert for women's rights, "Chime For Change", earlier this year. She also made a terminally ill girl's dream come true when they sang "Survivor" together at a recent Las Vegas show.


"It's pretty amazing that the top two spots on the list are held by celebrities under age 25. For the first time, 50% of the list is age 30 or younger. This rising generation is using their money and star power for good," said Naomi Hirabayashi, chief marketing officer of DoSomething.org. with his Reach Out Worldwide charity and duo & Ryan Lewis round out the top 5.
