Katy Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in South Texas, will showcase fall fashions from an incredible selection of designer brands during a high-energy fashion show as part of the Katy Women’s Leadership Circle luncheon. This charitable event, benefiting Dress for Success Houston, will take place on Friday, Sept. 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Club Falcon Point, 24503 Falcon Point Dr. in Katy.
“Katy Mills is pleased to share our impressive collection of name brand retailers with members of the Katy Women’s Leadership Circle,” said Cynthia Stansberry, director of marketing and business development at Katy Mills. “This is a great platform for us to highlight our popular selection of retailers offering the latest fashion trends.”
Katy Mills will put on a runway show featuring some of the hottest fall trends. Professional models from the Neal Hamil Modeling Agency will strut the catwalk in stylish business, casual and evening wear from a selection of Katy Mills’ fashion-forward retailers, including Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Kenneth Cole Company Store, DKNY Company Store, Perry Ellis and Juicy Couture.
More than 100 women are expected to gather for this event, which will benefit Dress for Success Houston. The organization was founded in 1998 by Nancy Levicki and Susie Cunningham to provide appropriate interview suits and career development resources for low-income women seeking employment, with the goal of helping them to become economically self-sufficient. Since its inception, more than 43,000 women in the Houston Metropolitan area have been served. In 2012, Dress for Success Houston assisted more than 6,000 women, and in 2013, the goal is to provide services to more than 7,000 women. An independent 501(c)(3) corporation registered in the state of Texas, Dress for Success Houston is part of an international network of 127 affiliates. The event is open to the public to attend. Tickets to the luncheon are $45 per person for Katy Area Chamber of Commerce members and $55 per person for non-Chamber members.
