During the Food Network's Thanksgiving Live Special on Saturday, Giada De Laurentiis accidentally cut her finger and had to receive medical attention.
E! News reports that while cutting some turkey, Laurentiis' knife slipped, slicing her finger.
An eyewitness spoke to Radar Online about the incident.
"She seemed to go pale and got very quiet putting pressure on it and whispering to Ina that it was bad," the eyewitness said. "She looked like she was about to faint."
Laurentiis was on set along with Alton Brown, Bobby Flay and Ina Garten. When they got back from commercial, Brown explained that Laurentiis was receiving medical attention.
Laurentiis returned to the set with her finger bandaged.
After the show, her fellow chefs made some jokes and Brown took to Twitter to poke fun at Laurentiis' accident, but it was all in good fun and she was able to laugh it off.

Laurentiis also posted a video on her Instagram of the process of her bandaged finger.
