There aren’t a lot of reasons a woman would want to cut up her wedding dress, and most all of them are probably not good. Kevin Jonas’ wife and mother to be Danielle Jonas, however, was able to find a positive reason to disassemble the gorgeous gown from her special day — to celebrate an even more special day (and years) in the form of a bassinet skirt and cover for her daughter, expected in early 2014.
The photo above was shared by Danielle’s friend Andrea Georger this week along with the description, “The glowing mommy to be!” In addition to the bassinet, Danielle looks to have also had a small dress for daughter made out of her wedding dress! Andrea shared this next photo that includes Danielle, the bassinet and the small gown:
All of the photos were taken during Danielle’s baby shower, which seemed to seriously live up to the term “shower” because Danielle and the little Jonas to be were absolutely showered with lots of gifts!
The baby-to-be shindig had a Mary Poppins theme, including a cake:
Danielle posted a photo of the aftermath with a note of heartfelt appreciation. “Thank you so much I been sitting in this room going threw everything,” Danielle wrote before adding, “I can’t wait for her to be here to see how many people love her!!!”
