According to the torrent file website Torrentfreak, the two shows, along with several other hit network and cable television shows, were pirated by the millions in 2013, with "Game of Thrones" being illegally downloaded an estimated 5.9 million times. "Breaking Bad," which aired its series finale earlier this year, was downloaded illegally an estimated 4.2 million times.

2. "Breaking Bad" -- estimated 4.2 million downloads -- this AMC drama series starred the likes of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. It ended its five-season run in September. It is an honorary mention on OTRC.com's list of 13 Best TV Shows of 2013 (which focus on shows currently airing).
3. "The Walking Dead" -- estimated 3.6 million downloads -- this AMC zombie drama stars the likes of Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln and is No. 1 on OTRC.com's list of 13 Best TV Shows of 2013.
4. "The Big Bang Theory" -- estimated 3.4 million downloads -- this CBS comedy series stars the likes of Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons. The sitcom is currently on its seventh season and is one of the most watched shows on television.
5. "Dexter" -- estimated 3.1 million downloads -- this Showtime thriller starred the likes of Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter. It ended its 8 season run in September.
6. "How I Met Your Mother" -- estimated 3 million downloads -- this CBS comedy series stars the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan. It will end its nine season run in March 2014.
7. "Suits" -- estimated 2.6 million downloads -- this U.S.A. Network original drama stars the likes of Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams. It is currently in its third season on the network.
8. "Homeland" -- estimated 2.4 million downloads -- this political thriller stars the likes of Claire Danes and Damian Lewis and is on OTRC.com's list of 13 Best TV Shows of 2013.
9. "Vikings" -- estimated 2.3 million downloads -- this historical drama stars the likes of Travis Fimmel and Clive Standen and airs on the History channel. After only nine aired episodes in 2013, the show was renewed for a second season to premiere in February 2014.
10. "Arrow" -- estimated 2.2 million downloads -- this comic book adventure stars the likes of Stephen Amell and Colton Haynes and airs on the CW.
