The newest guy in Hollywood superhero land won’t be an import for the U.K. Paul Rudd has been cast in the titular role in Ant-Man, based on the Marvel comic about about a brilliant scientist who can change his size and talk to insects. Rudd is reported to have beaten out other stars, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, for the role. Marvel has not commented on the casting, but numerous people close to the decision-making said Rudd was in. He’s currently starring in Anchorman 2, which opened Tuesday.
