The Miss Augusta/Miss Butler County Pageant is gaining a reputation in the pageant world for being a top-notch production. And Saturday night's program definitely did not disappoint.

Larry Strong, director of the Miss Augusta/Miss Butler County Organization, along with Kevin Unrein and crew providing the state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video, produced a first class event.

Mistress and Master of Ceremonies Sierra Scott and Daniel Touchatt kept things running smoothly and the audience enjoyed each and every lovely gown change by Sierra.

A farewell to Miss Butler County 2013 Ashley Ulmer and Miss Augusta 2013 Chelsea Chilcott and their tribute to pageant director Larry Strong was emotional.

Not only did Alyssa March win the Miss Augusta crown, she also won the talent and evening gown awards. Her platform is "Gender Wage Gap and Discrimination in the Workforce." She sang "Summer Time" from Porgy and Bess.

Annika Wooton, the new Miss Butler County, sang "Girl on Fire" and her platform issue is "Being U."
