At the 30th annual Night Of Stars gala in New York, there did not appear to be any twerking, nudity or tongue poses for Miley Cyrus, who showed up in an elegant, sparkling and classy backless gown.

The 20-year-old pop star, who has made headlines in recent months over her sexually-explict appearances in performances and videos, showed up in a sequined teal Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear gown that featured a scoop neckline, spaghetti straps. It retails for $2,800. Cyrus also wore matching eye makeup and bright red nail polish and her short, dyed blonde hair was slicked back.
At the gala, the singer presented designer Marc Jacobs with the 2013 Superstar Award. Other celebrities who attended the gala included supermodel Kate Upton, Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, Zoe Kravitz -- daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonnet and a cast member of "X-Men: First Class," and "Orange Is The New Black" actress Taylor Schilling (Check out PHOTOS of Miley Cyrus and the other celebrities at the event.
