"Broadchurch," which played here on BBC America, was the story of a small town where a young boy is mysteriously murdered. It explores the aftermath, with the Gunn character as the lead local detective.

Fox is billing "Gracepoint" as a "limited event" series, which means it will run for a short, finite number of episodes.
