As fun as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie 's globetrotting lives may be, there is one downside: Sometimes they're continents apart!

But on Saturday, Nov. 16, the A-list couple reunited back at the 5th Annual Governors Awards in Hollywood, where Angelina was honored for her dedication to humanitarian causes around the world with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Their oldest son, 12-year-old Maddox Jolie-Pitt, came out, too, looking oh-so-grown up in a tuxedo just like dad's!

This celebratory night was special, of course, because it recognized Angelina's philanthropic efforts through the years. She and Brad mingled with Emma Thompson , Ed Begley Jr., Tatum O'Neal, director Steve McQueen and Raquel Welch backstage before Angie, along with Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin and Piero Tosi, were presented their awards. But the night was also significant because it was the first time the parents of six had walked a red carpet together since the July 29 Tokyo premiere of World War Z .

Prior to this special evening, Brad, 49, had been busy filming Fury in the U.K. and making various promotional appearances for 12 Years a Slave. Meanwhile Angelina, 38, was hard at work across Australia, focusing on her second directorial project, Unbroken. She's also continued in her efforts to help around the world, shining her light on causes she's continuously supported like World Refugee Day and ending the mistreatment of children in Syria.

Well, from the looks of Brangelina standing side by side Saturday, they sure seem happy to be back in the same place. Plus, it must be nice to have Brad, Angie, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne all under one roof!

Brangelina and the brood are always on the move!
