Kendall Jenner celebrated turning 18 earlier this month with a low-key family dinner. But the typically shy "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star made a splash when she gave her 7 million Instagram followers a little more than a "sneak peek" from a photo shoot on Tuesday.
In fact, sneak peek may be an understatement, as the black-and-white photo from a shoot with photographer Russell James shows Jenner, with wet hair covering part of her face, wearing a black mesh see-through top that exposes her breasts and nipples. Media headlines quickly followed, with some outlets quickly comparing Jenner to notoriously sexy sister Kim Kardashian.
But although Instagram's terms of use state that users cannot post partially nude photos, the site has not made any comment so far. And with more than 500,000 likes on the pic, the majority of Jenner's fans weren't complaining about the revealing shot. Many left gushing comments for the E! star-turned-model, telling her how "gorgeous" she looked.
Instagram user Tiffanymartin66 said, "I think this shot is gorgeous! Shes unbelievably beautiful Everyone needs to stop and think, if you looked like this you would do it too. I know i would."
Another fan, @DASHqueens, tweeted, "@KendallJenner kendall you are flawless!!! Your photoshoots with nomadrj are my favourite ♡"
And while some people weren't totally onboard with the teen baring it all for fashion, big sister Khloe Kardashian came to her defense.
"Gorgeous @KendallJenner!!! High fashion! Model your booty off and show them how its done!!! Major Model Moment!," she tweeted before adding, "I love seeing all of these haters comments. Naomi, Kate, Cindy.... All fabulous models.... Models and photographers take beautiful ... Artistic images. Don't hear you birds chirp then. Sit down and enjoy the view!#SorryNotSorry."
