According to ComicBook.com on Dec. 14, it appears as if Christopher Nolan's trailer for "Interstellar " is already gaining acceptance for a speculative Oscar performance. The public or others concerned may wonder how it would even be possible that a rather ambiguous trailer of mostly historical events and a few seconds of real footage could lead to Best Picture prominence.

Some theories is the ability for Christopher Nolan, which is a name associated with high quality film making, to create a film that could appeal to Academy voters. "Gravity ", which starred Sandra Bullock , had been done in such a method and some speculate could at least receive a nomination. Since the Oscars tend to shy away from anything science fiction or comic book related, such a believable format and aspires to go beyond than just the typical science fiction film.

With all the buzz going around so early, one could say that this is the first film receiving such notoriety as an Oscar nominee for Best Picture.
