When it comes to wedding cakes, Kaley Cuoco knows how to make a big bang.
The 28-year-old's New Year's Eve nuptials featured an astounding seven-layer chandelier cake, which was suspended from the ceiling and decorated with a crystal candelabra.
But the Big Bang Theory star soon got more than a mouthful of the edible furnishing as her new husband Ryan Sweeting couldn't help but smash a piece into her face during the reception.
Epic confection: Kaley Cuoco shared a snap on Instagram of her chandelier cake from her wedding day with Ryan Sweeting
The blushing bride was no doubt in awe of the mesmerizing confection as she captioned the black and white memento: 'TY to #thebutterend for creating our magical chandelier cake. Literally hanging above us. EPIC'.
In the snap Kaley can be seen playing coy with her new husband Ryan Sweeting after he smashed a piece of the cake into her face.
A chunk of the frosting is visibly missing from a tier in the gorgeous white wedding treat in the Instagram photo.
Magical: The wedding cake featured an actual crystal chandelier
Blushing bride: The television star and the tennis pro were the picture of happiness as they walked the aisle as man and wife
The cake was a 'sculpted' confection from a Santa Monica, California, cakery called the Butter End, which was founded by a cancer survivor named Kimberly Bailey.
Her sculpted cakes start at $500 but only go up in price depending on how elaborate the design and size of the endeavour - surely placing Kaley's cake at the top end of the price range.
The blonde star is wearing her wedding dress - a strapless, pink creation by Vera Wang - in the social media picture as Ryan is stripped down to his vest.
'Greatest night of my entire life': The 28-year-old bride shared her joy and this cute snap of herself and Ryan the day after the big event
Touchy feely moment: Kaley seemed to enjoy this part of the dance too
Kaley teamed the dress with a diamond headband, necklace, earring and bracelet, with her blonde hair up in loose bun.
The affair was a fire and ice party, which combines elements of light and dark and require that ladies either wear white or red, while the guys can opt for red or white ties.
And Kaley and Ryan, who became engaged just three months ago, certainly went all out with the decorations for their wedding.
As well as fire-breathing entertainers, there were also characters on stilts who entertained the 150 friends and family invited to the ceremony.
Sweet moment: The couple shared an intimate dance at the reception
Getting playful: The reception looked to have been quite the party
Obvious passion: The pair nuzzled as the crowd looked on
