Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter to deny claims she 'dissed' Beyonce saying the quotes were completely "made up".
It was reported that the Wrecking Ball singer told LOVE magazine that Beyonce was out of touch with modern music and that she believes she can take her place at the top of the music ladder.
"That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got 'the looks and the curves I'm just better!' Bahahahhaha," Tweeted Cyrus.
She also fumed at the fact that words were put in her mouth.
"How are people allowed to make up sh-t & then out quotes around it saying I said that sh-t!!?"
It is reported Miley said: "Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she's been out for such a long time.
"She's so talented and I think she's at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that's what I bring to the game now, new blood, I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I'm just the best."
It was reported Miley described herself as the "total package" and believes she will have a career that eclipses her fellow music "icons".
