THE children of Michael Jackson will return to Ireland – that's the opinion of Moate based cabbie Ray O'Hara, who spent six months ferrying the King Of Pop and his children around the midlands when the pop superstar came to live here in 2006.
Living anonymously in Westmeath, Jackson was able to bring his children, Prince Michael Junior (9), Paris (8) and Blanket (4) to local play centres, bowling alleys and cinemas.
Outings which would have been impossible in the US due to Jackson's superstar status.
"Michael could be a typical dad to his kids in Westmeath. I know his kids cherish those memories.
"That's why I'm sure they will come back to Ireland to relive those memories," said Mr O'Hara in Michael Jackson's Irish Driver, a documentary-on-one, which airs on RTE Radio One at 2pm today.
Used to Jackson's palatial mansion Neverland in California, the young family moved into a converted cow shed next to Grouse Lodge studios where Jackson was recording.
