This week's celebrity anniversaries:
Oct. 13, 2007. Actress Maxine Bahns and Canadian singer/songwriter Patrick Watson. The couple has one daughter, Madison Rose Watson, born March 8, 2009, in Santa Monica, Calif.
Oct. 13, 2009. Actor Jeremy Sisto ("Law and Order") and Addie Lane, New York, NY. The small civil ceremony took place at City Hall in Manhattan. The couple dressed casual for the ceremony. Their four month old daughter Charlie and a nanny were the only witnesses.
Oct. 15, 2011. Actress Shannen Doherty and celebrity photographer Kurt Iswarienko, Malibu, Calif. The former "90210" star and Iswarienko said "I do" during a sunset ceremony. The bride wore three dresses throughout the day: two Monique Lhuillier gowns and a third sexier dress for the last part of the reception. The nuptials were aired on Doherty's WE TV reality show, "Shannen Says."
Oct. 15, 1948. Former President Gerald R. Ford and former First Lady Betty Bloomer Ford, Grand Rapids, Mich. The couple got married at the Grace Episcopal Church. This was Betty Ford's second marriage. They had four children together. Gerald left their rehearsal dinner to make a campaign speech. Betty wore a $50 wedding dress. Gerald wore a dark suit and muddy shoes and was late for their wedding because he was out campaigning. The day after their wedding, they attended a political rally, went to a University of Michigan football game and heard Thomas Dewey give a speech. Gerald won the election three weeks later.
Oct. 16, 2011. Singer Paul McDonald and actress Nikki Reed, Malibu, Calif. The couple met at the "Red Riding Hood" premiere and McDonald didn't know who Reed was. The 130 guests at their wedding enjoyed gorgeous vineyard views from the Chateau Le Dome, a hilltop on the Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu where the couple was married. Another sight to see was Reed's Tacori dress, which cost $1 million and took more than 100 hours of hand stitching to make. It was a silk organza gown with a silk satin organza overlay and a 72-inch train. She wore Aruna Seth "Farfalla" shoes and had sunflowers as her bouquet. The couple recited their vows under a wooden chuppah decorated with sunflowers. For the reception, guests were seated on hay bales in a grassy field with wildflower centerpieces. There were blankets left in the grass for stargazing in the evening.
Oct. 17, 1975. Musician Maurice Gibb (Bee Gees) and Yvonne Spencely. This was Gibb's second marriage. They were married for almost thirty years until Gibb died in 2003. They had two children together.
Oct. 17, 1952. Singer Hank Williams and Billie Jean Jones Eshlimar. This was the second marriage for both. After Williams' death, a judge ruled that the wedding was not legal because Billie Jean's divorce from her previous spouse had not become final until 11 days after she married Williams.
Oct. 17, 2009. Singer Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and Mariqueen Maandig, Los Angeles. Reznor is the front man of the band Nine Inch Nails and Maandig is in the band How to Destroy Angels. The outdoor wedding ceremony took place as the sun was setting in front of family and friends, and was photographed by celebrity photographer, Robert Evans. The couple has two children together.
Oct. 18, 2011. Actor Danny Masterson ("That 70s Show") and actress/singer Bijou Phillips, Tipperary, Ireland. Masterson and Phillips wed at a private castle in the Irish countryside. The bride wore Zac Posen and the groom wore Albert Hammond Jr. for Confederacy. Following the ceremony, the couple, along with family and friends, enjoyed a week-long celebration in Ireland.
Oct. 18, 1986. Singer Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac) and Eduardo Quintela. This was Christine's first of two marriages. It lasted sixteen years. They had no children together.
Oct. 19, 2012. Singer/actor Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel, Fasano, Italy. Timberlake wed Biel at a destination wedding in Italy with one hundred guests that were treated to a week-long party in Italy. Biel walked down the aisle to a song written by Timberlake just for her. She wore a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown that was custom-made and petal-pink. Timberlake donned a Tom Ford tux which he helped design.
