Tori Spelling's husband can't afford a reversible vasectomy because the couple went a ''little crazy'' with spending their riches.
The 40-year-old actress claimed recently that her spouse Dean McDermott - with whom she has four kids, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 14 months - was advised not to undergo the costly procedure because of their tough financial situation, and he has now opened up about their predicament, revealing that they spent a lot of money after finding success with their reality TV show.
He said: ''I came from nothing so when you're successful and get a little cash, you go a little crazy.
''I went to a particular doctor because he's the best at [vasectomy] reversals and he doesn't take insurance and the estimate was pretty high. We told the business manager and he's like, 'That's a lot, that's a lot.' So I didn't pursue it.''
Tori is thought to have inherited less than a million dollars when her multi-millionaire father Aaron Spelling - a famous TV producer - died in 2006, and Dean admits that he is too proud to turn to his rich mother-in-law Candy Spelling for help.
He told Access Hollywood: ''No, because we work really hard for everything that we have and it's Candy's money and you can't dictate to someone how to spend it. We always do for ourselves.''
