For years and years the Entourage movie was looking like just a pipe dream, until producer Mark Wahlberg's off-the-cuff rant about "greedy people" caught fire-- there's nothing more fun, an episode of Entourage included, than a juicy story about salary disputes among famous people. Unsurprisingly it was Jeremy Piven's big payday that was reportedly causing all the trouble, but the guys managed to hug it out and sign the deal, and just in the nick of time-- if the production hadn't kicked off by the end of January, it wouldn't have qualified for the California tax credits that were essential to getting it made.
It's not exactly news to hear that they're considering adding a woman as attractive as Upton to the cast-- over its eight seasons Entourage provided paychecks for virtually every beautiful woman in the Los Angeles area, and as The Wrap points out, Adrien Grenier's character Vincent Chase always did have a thing for curvy blondes like Upton. But, if the general air of indifference I sense around the Entourage movie sticks around, Upton might actually be more of a selling point than any of her male co-stars. She's completely gorgeous, obviously, but also establishing a respectable acting track record, with roles in The Three Stooges and Tower Heist . OK, fine, that's not exactly training at the Actor's Studio, but it's no worse than the careers of many other models turned actress (yes, we're looking at you, Cindy Crawford of Fair Game ).
If you're one of those rare birds who's actually interested in the Entourage movie for its own sake, please do let us know in the comments. Otherwise look forward to lots of this:
