On Friday Kanye West Postpones 'Yeezus' Tour Dates Due to Set Damage was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Kanye West fans in Vancouver, Denver and Minneapolis will have to wait a little bit longer to get their Yeezus fix. last night's show scheduled for Vancouver — which was already a make-up date for postponing the show originally set for October 20 before being pushed to Halloween — has been pushed back yet again.

This time, however, the postponement is the result of a traffic accident that has left parts of the grandiose Yeezus Tour production with extensive damage.

"Yesterday, on the road to Vancouver, a truck carrying The Yeezus Tour's custom-made video truss and 60-ft circular LED screen was in an accident that damaged the gear beyond repair," West's publicist explained in a press release (via Pitchfork). "This gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA. As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated."

"Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans," the statement continues, going to explain that the damaged gear will also affect upcoming shows in Denver and Minneapolis (originally scheduled for Nov. 3 and Nov. 5, respectively), with the rapper's publicist telling fans to stay tuned: "Further details on the affected tour dates will be announced shortly." - more on this story
