Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014 - Official Coverage - People And Atmosphere Day 7Celebrities have a love-hate relationship with the paparazzi. While we mostly see the hate when celebs get into altercations with the shutterbugs, the stars also know that being photographed means being relevant and it can often be very good for their careers.

That being the case, many celebs have been accused of calling the paps themselves. Kim Kardashian , for example, has been said to do exactly that--although she has never publicly admitted to engaging in such activities.

As part of ex-husband Tom Cruise's defamation lawsuit against Bauer Media, an email says that Katie's publicist (Leslie Sloan-Zelnick) arranges paparazzi photos to show how close Katie and daughter Suri Cruise are.

The email states, "Leslee Sloan [sic] (Katie's publicist) calls the paparazzi every time K[atie] gets ready to leave the building as the doormen are always surprised how they suddenly show up when she is about to leave."

Leslie denied the accusation in a statement to Hollyscoop, saying "we do not call the paparazzi for any client...I am offended as that is not the publicity we do."

We don't know how Katie really feels when she gets caught by the paps, but Suri always seems upset when the cameras start flashing and may or may not have even flipped the bird to the shutterbugs earlier this year.
