The people have spoken. Or at least they will once they cast their votes for this year's People's Choice Awards taking place in January. On Tuesday (November 5), the nominees for the PCAs were announced, highlighting the best of pop culture, including movies, TV and music.
"Glee" is the most nominated TV show, with eight nominations. Meanwhile, Katy Perry leads the music pack with five nods, matching Sandra Bullock, who has the most movie nominations this year.
In the Favorite Movie category, "Despicable Me 2," "Fast & Furious 6," "Iron Man 3," "Monsters University" and "Star Trek Into Darkness" are all up for the award. In the Favorite Movie Actor category, Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Downey Jr. will face off against one another. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy, Scarlett Johansson and Bullock are up for Favorite Movie Actress.
While "Glee" dominates the TV categories, there is one category in which the show didn't get nominated: Favorite Streaming Series. The nominees in that category include Web-only series "Arrested Development," "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis," "House of Cards," "Losing It with John Stamos" and "Orange Is the New Black."
Among Katy's many music nods is Favorite Female Artist, in which she's competing against Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Pink and Selena Gomez. She's also up for Favorite Pop Artist against Spears, Bruno Mars, Lovato and Justin Timberlake.
One Direction are up for Favorite Band along with groups from all genres including Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, OneRepublic and Paramore. Favorite Hip Hop Artist nominees include Drake, Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience, Bangerz by Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton's Based on a True Story ..., Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke and To Be Loved by Michael Bublé are all competing in the Favorite Album category.
And the newbies will be represented at the People's Choice Awards too. Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Icona Pop, Imagine Dragons and Lorde are all nominated for Favorite Breakout Artist.
