Evelyn Lozada, who was engaged to ex-Celtic
Antoine Walker and was married (briefly) to ex-Patriot Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, is now engaged and having a baby with ex-Red Sox whiner Carl Crawford!

Think the “Basketball Wives” serial dater has a thing for former Boston jocks???

Lozada tweeted the news of her Christmas Eve engagement and a pic of her whopping new bling: a 10-carat emerald-cut diamond, valued at $1.4 million. Evie added her thanks to ring designer Jason of Beverly Hills with the hashtag “#HappiestGirlInTheWorld.”

But perhaps Crawford, who went from the Sox to the Dodgers in that blockbuster trade last year, should take note of what happens to Evie’s exs!

Lozada and Walker were together for about 10 years, through most of his career with the Celtics. She moved to Miami with him in 2007 when he joined the Heat, but they broke up in 2009, which was right around the time that Walker — who had made $110 million during his NBA career — filed for bankruptcy.

Evie moved on to Ochocinco, whom she met on Twitter. The two married a few months after the Pats lost the Super Bowl to the Giants for the second time. But it was a short-lived union — a little more than a month after they swapped “I dos,” Lozada filed for divorce. She accused him of head-butting her during an argument after she found condoms in the car. Johnson, who had been competing for a spot on the Dolphins roster, was released and hasn’t played in the NFL since.

Crawford, of course, was one of the infamous under-performers on the Sox roster in 2011 and 2012 after signing a $142 million contract with Boston. After the trade, he described the Fenway atmosphere as “toxic.” He is currently in a messy lawsuit with the mother of his 9-year-old son and 5-month-old daughter.

Carl and Evelyn’s baby is due in late March.
Lozada also has a 20-year-old daughter, Shaniece, from a previous relationship.

File Under: Ball Girl.
