The Terminator really wasn't kidding when he said, "I'll be back."
Skydance Production and Annapurna Pictures, the producers behind the 2015 film franchise reboot, are teaming up for a new Terminator TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
X-Men: First Class writers Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller will write and executive-produce the new series, which will work in tandem with the upcoming film with two narratives intersecting.

The TV series will kick off after a critical moment from the original Terminator film, but it will take the story in a different direction.
The last time the franchise was adapted for TV was in 2008 with Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles , which starred Summer Glau, and lasted for two seasons.
