Miley Cyrus appears in Marc Jacobs' Spring 14 campaign.
Miley Cyrus is the new face of Marc Jacobs.The 21-year-old singer and the fashion designer have formed a close friendship over the years and Miley has worn his pieces to numerous events.For Marc's eponymous label's Spring 14 campaign, Miley can be seen sat on a dark sandy beach pulling a solemn expression. Her cropped hair, which appears to be brown in the photo, has been given a windswept look and her eyes are defined by smoky make-up.She is wearing a navy jacket featuring a black embellishment with a pair of burgundy shorts and black sneakers. Next to her lies redhead model Natalie Westling in a similar jacket and dark blue trousers, while another blonde girl lingers in the background.Sharing her delight at the finished photo Miley posted it on Twitter."MARC JACOBS SS14 (sic)" she wrote to her followers accompanied by the picture.A staff member of Marc Jacobs also shared the picture and revealed which photographer conducted the photoshoot."Secret's out, @MileyCyrus stars in the MJ SS14 Campaign shot by David Sims! An exclusive look at the full ad (sic)" they posted.Miley is the latest big name to appear in an advertisement for Marc Jacobs. Those who have modelled for him in the past include quirky stars Meg White and Helena Bonham-Carter, along with Dakota Fanning and Victoria Beckham.It was just a few days ago the pop star posted a photo on Twitter of herself wearing a Marc Jacobs T-shirt, which signifies same-sex couples' rights.The top, which shows two cartoon women with a little girl, reads: 'I pay my taxes, I want my rights'.Miley wrote alongside the snap: "Jacobs by Marc by Marc Jacobs."
